CSA Angels Project Grant

About this program

The Costume Society of America’s CSA Angels Project provides one annual grant of collection-care assistance to a small institution with a costume or textile collection, including a one-day team project, training, volunteer expertise, and up to $2,500 in equipment and supplies. Eligible applicants must be 501(c) nonprofit museums, historical societies, historic houses, or similar organizations with budgets of $350,000 or less, no more than five collection-support staff, regular public hours, adequate workspace, and a project addressing urgent collection-maintenance needs. Institutions must be located within a 45-minute drive of the CSA National Symposium hotel and must obtain CSA institutional or individual staff membership if selected; applications are due November 1, 2026.
