Cultural Heritage Preservation Award Application

About this program

The Etruscan Foundation, with support from the Ferdinand & Sarah Cinelli Trust, offers Cultural Heritage Preservation Awards of up to $10,000 for professional conservation or preservation of Etruscan and Italic material culture from Bronze Age through 1st-century BCE non-Greek Italy. Eligible projects may address artifacts, murals, architecture, or other materials and should advance the study, documentation, display, protection, or preservation of Italy’s archaeological heritage. Accredited museums and cultural institutions worldwide may apply in English with a project description, work plan and schedule, conservator résumés, budget, and optional images; preference is given to first-time recipients and applicants with limited prior preservation experience. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on March 1 or October 1, and awardees must submit a final report within 60 days of project completion.
