About this program

The Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences (AAPS), a 501(c)(3) public charity, offers the $1,000 David Kronen Casting and Molding Grant to support casting, molding, 3D scanning, and printing of commercially collected paleontological specimens. Grant-funded replicas must advance public education or research, with at least one replica donated to a public museum, school, or university. Applicants may be any interested party working on an eligible specimen and must submit a project description, timeline, budget, cover letter, current CV/resume or transcript, and photograph by November 1; international applicants must have a bank account that accepts U.S. wire transfers.
