D. Kronen Casting & Molding Grant

About this program

The Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences (AAPS) offers the $1,000 D. Kronen Casting & Molding Grant to support molding, casting, 3D scanning, and printing of commercially collected paleontological specimens for public education or research. Grant funds may cover mold design and construction, scanning and printing, and related tools and materials, with at least one replica required for donation to a public museum, school, or university. Applicants must submit a project cover letter, specimen description, timeline, budget, current CV, résumé or college transcript, and a qualifying photograph by November 1 for consideration for the following calendar year. International applicants must have a bank account capable of receiving U.S. wire transfers.
