About this program
The Douglas County Community Foundation offers Community Grants to support local projects in arts and culture, animal welfare, children and youth, education, environment, health, housing, human services, and other community-focused areas. Projects must benefit residents of Douglas County, Kansas, and applications are accepted during spring and fall cycles; the Fall 2026 deadline is September 1 at 5:00 p.m. CST. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, tribal entities, and local governments that operate without discrimination. Organizations may submit only one application per calendar year.
