About this program
TWAS and the SRM Governance Initiative offer DECIMALS Fund grants of up to USD 70,000 for Global South scientists to model how solar radiation management (SRM) geoengineering could affect locally relevant climate risks, including droughts, cyclones, and extreme temperatures. Funding also supports capacity building, collaboration, conference participation, and engagement with local communities. Applicants must be scientists from developing countries; prior SRM expertise is not required. The call closes 29 May 2018.
