About this program

The American Society of Civil Engineers’ Structural Engineering Institute offers the Dennis L. Tewksbury Award to recognize outstanding service to SEI and the structural engineering profession. The award honors innovative or visionary leadership, efforts to advance SEI’s growth and visibility, collaboration with other structural engineering organizations, or other valuable professional service. Nominees must be individual members of both SEI and ASCE, and nominations may be submitted by anyone using the required nomination form by November 1. Up to one award may be conferred annually, subject to approval by the SEI Board of Governors.
