Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Grants

About this program

The GTR Community Foundation offers Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Grants of up to $2,500 to support organizations, programs, events, trainings, and general operating efforts that advance equity and inclusion. Priority is given to organizations led by or serving communities of color, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, neurodiverse individuals, veterans, and people with disabilities in the five-county region or the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. Nonprofit, educational, governmental, and Tribal entities are eligible; individuals may not apply. Applications are accepted online or by video and reviewed quarterly, with 2026 deadlines of February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1.
