Douglas K. Richardson Award for Perinatal and Pediatric Health Care Research

The Society for Pediatric Research offers the Douglas K. Richardson Award for Perinatal and Pediatric Health Care Research to recognize one investigator annually for sustained, substantial contributions to child health services, perinatal, or pediatric research. The award includes recognition at the PAS Meeting, complimentary registration, economy travel and two nights of hotel accommodation, and an honorarium; nominations are accepted August 15–September 30. Eligible nominees may be child health researchers in any specialty or advanced-degree field, including PhDs, and must demonstrate a sustained record of excellence as clinical investigators; SPR membership is not required. Nominations must include a current CV, a detailed nomination letter documenting qualifying research contributions, and three letters of support from individuals other than the nominator.
