Downtown Revitalization Programs

About this program

The Texas Department of Agriculture offers Downtown Revitalization Program grants of up to $1,000,000 for infrastructure improvements that address conditions contributing to slum or blight in eligible downtown or Main Street areas. Eligible applicants are incorporated municipalities that are not designated Texas Historical Commission Main Street Cities. The applicant city must administer and oversee the project throughout the contract term; eligibility should be confirmed with TDA. Applications are due April 7, 2027.
