Drug Delivery Predoctoral Fellowship

About this program

The PhRMA Foundation’s Predoctoral Fellowship in Drug Delivery provides $30,000 annually for 12, 18, or 24 months to support thesis research in drug delivery, pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical biotechnology, or biomedical engineering. Projects should address a defined therapeutic payload and target tissue, with translationally relevant rationale for dosing, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, and delivery efficiency. U.S. and non-U.S. citizens are eligible if enrolled full time and in residence at an accredited U.S. university, have completed at least two years of coursework and advanced to PhD thesis research, and have authored a publication or presented a poster; applicants cannot hold an NIH F award or concurrent stipend support. Applications require a letter of intent by April 15, 2026, with invited full applications due August 26, 2026.
