Early-Career Artist Project Grant

About this program

Forecast Public Art, with support from the Jerome Foundation, offers two $8,000 Early-Career Artist Project Grants for new temporary or permanent public art projects created in Minnesota during January 1–November 30, 2027. Projects may use public or nonprofit support but cannot be private commissions, and must be free and accessible to the community. Applicants must be Minnesota-based, vocational early-career artists with approximately 2–10 years of experience generating their own work and a secured project site documented by the October 18, 2026, deadline. Applications require a proposal, community connection and career-impact statements, resume, budget, work samples, and site permission.
