About this program
The American Association for Anatomy offers four Early-Career Investigator Awards recognizing significant biomedical research contributions in cell/molecular biology, developmental biology, neuroanatomy, and morphological sciences. Each award includes a $2,000 honorarium, complimentary registration, and up to $1,500 in travel reimbursement to attend the AAA Annual Meeting. Nominees must be within 10 years of receiving their highest earned degree; nominators submit a nomination form and recommendation letter, while nominees provide three representative papers and a CV. Nominations are due October 19, 2026, with additional materials due November 9, 2026.
