ECRAC Mid-Career Artist Grant

About this program

The East Central Regional Arts Council (ECRAC), with support from the McKnight Foundation, offers project-based Mid-Career Artist Grants of up to $3,600 for artistic growth, experimentation, collaboration, skill development, or art business advancement. The April 1, 2026, deadline has been closed because available funds were fully allocated; future funding cycles may reopen in the next fiscal year. Applicants must be at least 18, established mid-career artists or culture bearers, and permanent residents for at least six months of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, or Pine County, Minnesota, or Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe lands. Proposed projects must begin at least two months after the deadline and be completed within 14 months.
