Edith Sabshin Teaching Awards

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Department of Academic and Professional Affairs offers the Edith Sabshin Teaching Award to recognize outstanding contributions to educating students who are not psychoanalytic candidates. Up to ten individuals are honored annually, and awardees may be APsA members or non-members. Candidates must be recommended by their local psychoanalytic societies or institutes; nominations are solicited from society presidents and institute directors each September and are due to APsA by November 1.
