Edith Sabshin Teaching Awards

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s Department of Academic and Professional Affairs offers the Edith Sabshin Teaching Award to honor outstanding contributions to educating students who are not psychoanalytic candidates. Up to ten individuals are recognized annually for exceptional service in non-candidate education. Both APsA members and non-members are eligible, but nominees must be recommended by their local societies and institutes. Nominations are solicited from society presidents and institute directors each September and are due to APsA by November 1.
