About this program
The Maine Community Foundation’s Edward H. Daveis Benevolent Fund offers project grants of up to $20,000 for new or expanding youth engagement programs serving middle and high school students in Greater Portland. Eligible projects should provide opportunities, develop aspirations, or support youth wellbeing, with applications due September 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Applicants must meet MaineCF’s eligibility and nondiscrimination requirements, and collaboration among organizations or with schools is encouraged. Organizations may not receive funding for four consecutive years.
