About this program

The College Art Association’s Edwards Memorial Support Grants fund registration fees and participation-related expenses for women emerging scholars attending the CAA Annual Conference, including travel, caregiving, and technology costs. Applicants must be presenting onsite or virtually at the upcoming conference and be in an advanced stage of a doctoral program or have completed a PhD within the past two years. Applications require a paper abstract, two-page CV, letter of interest, and confirmation from a dean, department chair, or dissertation advisor; work concerning specified historical periods will be prioritized. Applications are due September 25, and applicants must use a CAA individual or non-member ID.
