About this program
Mercatus Center’s Emergent Ventures, administered by faculty director Tyler Cowen, provides low-overhead fellowships and grants to entrepreneurs and thinkers pursuing highly scalable "zero to one" ideas intended to meaningfully improve society. Grants are awarded globally with dedicated support streams for projects focused on India, Africa and the Caribbean, or Ukraine, and applicants should indicate a geographic focus on the application form where applicable. Eligibility requires applicants to be at least 13 years of age.
