EMI Leonardo Da Vinci Award

About this program

The Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the annual Leonardo Da Vinci Award to recognize young investigators whose promising, groundbreaking work advances Engineering Mechanics and Applied Sciences relevant to civil engineering. The award includes a plaque and presentation at the EMI annual conference. Nominees must be EMI or ASCE/EMI members in good standing and either under 35 or within seven years of receiving their first doctorate, with no restriction based on nationality. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a cover letter, official form, exactly three recommendation letters, CV, one-page research statement, and three published or accepted peer-reviewed journal articles in a single PDF.
