2026 Encompass Health Therapy Grants

About this program

Encompass Health Corporation offers 2026 therapy research grants totaling up to $75,000 to study the impact and effectiveness of rehabilitation services in inpatient rehabilitation facilities, particularly for neurological impairments, as well as knowledge translation and implementation science. Priority areas include therapy or nursing interventions, treatment intensity, patient outcomes and experiences, caregiver education, prevention, and implementation of evidence-based practices. Principal investigators must be based in the United States or Puerto Rico, and proposed research must be conducted in the United States or Puerto Rico using a well-defined protocol with required IRB approval and informed-consent procedures. Applications must be emailed to TherapyGrants@encompasshealth.com by October 31, 2026, at 5 p.m. EST, with studies expected to conclude within 12 months of award.
