About this program
The ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry offers up to 20 annual ENVR Graduate Student Awards recognizing outstanding graduate students conducting research in environmental chemistry and engineering. Awardees receive a monetary prize, one year of Environmental Division membership, and recognition in ACS publications. Applicants must be full-time M.S. or Ph.D. students at U.S. or international institutions, have completed at least one year of graduate study, remain enrolled on June 1, and be ACS members; the student or advisor must also belong to the Division of Environmental Chemistry. Faculty advisors may nominate one student by October 31 with a single PDF containing transcripts, publication information, and a recommendation letter.
