PIDJ Award

About this program

The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) offers the PIDJ Award to recognize ESPID members who have published high-quality original research in the Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal (PIDJ). The recipient receives registration, travel, and accommodation support to attend the ESPID Annual Meeting, presents during the “Best of ESPID” session, and receives an editorial commendation. Applicants must be formally invited, and the paper must be original research published in PIDJ during the calendar year preceding the award; current PIDJ Editorial Board and ESPID Board members are ineligible. Applications are open from August 1 through October 31, 2026, with selection based on clinical impact, significance to paediatric infectious diseases, and study design.
