About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Sections and Branches Council offers the EWRI Outstanding Chapter Award to recognize an exceptional Environmental and/or Water Resources Technical Group or EWRI Chapter based on its activities relative to its size and geographic location. Up to two awards are presented annually, consisting of a framed award listing the chapter’s current officers and immediate past president or chair. Eligible nominees must be an ASCE Section or Branch technical group or EWRI Chapter, with chapters eligible only once every five years. Nominations are due September 15 and must include the official nomination form and a signed cover letter explaining why the chapter merits selection.
