About this program
The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) offers the Excellence in Laser Nursing/Allied Health Award to recognize exceptional nursing and allied health contributions to laser medicine, surgery, and joint practice. The recipient receives a plaque and $1,000 at the ASLMS Annual Conference and must deliver a conference lecture. Nominees must be ASLMS members with at least 20 years of experience applying lasers or related technologies in healthcare, demonstrated innovation, leadership, professional conduct, and strong communication skills. Non-clinical professionals, particularly those working in industry, are encouraged to apply; nominations for the 2027 award are due September 1, 2026.
