Farm and Ranch Solid Waste Cleanup and Abatement Grant Program FR92

About this program

The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) offers Farm and Ranch Solid Waste Cleanup and Abatement Grant Program Cycle 92 (FR92) to fund cleanup, recycling, disposal, and prevention of illegal dumping on eligible agricultural properties. Projects may include site remediation, security, public education, equipment, materials, and personnel costs, with approximately two years to complete and reimbursement provided through state funds. Eligible applicants are public agencies and federally recognized Native American tribes, including cities, counties, and resource conservation districts; matching funds are not required. Project sites must be appropriately zoned or authorized farm and ranch property where the owner is not responsible for the illegal disposal, and applications are due October 7, 2026.
