FENS/IBRO-PERC Exchange Fellowships

About this program

FENS and IBRO-PERC offer exchange fellowships of up to EUR 4,000 to support four-week to four-month laboratory visits that provide neuroscience Master’s and PhD students and early-career postdoctoral researchers with methodological training in established European laboratories. Funding covers economy travel and housing, and the exchange must be completed within one year of award. Applicants must be based in Europe, within five years of starting their postdoc if applicable, and be members of a FENS society, FENS, or an eligible IBRO-PERC organization. A host-laboratory acceptance and home-laboratory recommendation are required, with applications accepted from 1 June to 15 October 2026.
