Florida Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program

About this program

The Florida Department of Education’s Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program provides up to $4,000 annually for a maximum of four years to nursing personnel who serve in Florida communities with critical nursing shortages. Eligible employment sites include state healthcare facilities, public schools, county health departments, community health centers, hospitals, and other approved facilities, with matching funds required for certain sites. Full-time licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, and advanced practice registered nurses working at eligible Florida sites may apply; applications are due September 1, 2026.
