The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Frank M. Masters Transportation Engineering Award to recognize innovative or noteworthy planning, design, or construction of transportation facilities, as documented in a publication accessible to the engineering community. The recipient receives a medal and an honorarium, with certificates awarded to non-lead recipients in joint achievements. Nominees must be ASCE society members in good standing and may not have previously received the award; nominations require a signed cover letter, CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters. Nominations are due November 1.
