Frontiers Planet Prize to Accelerate Scientific Solutions for Healthy Lives on a Healthy Planet

The Frontiers Planet Prize, represented in the United States by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, recognizes groundbreaking scientific solutions that advance healthy lives on a healthy planet. International Champions receive $1 million each to accelerate high-impact sustainability research. U.S. universities and research institutions that have not previously participated may register as National Nominating Bodies by September 15, 2026, to nominate eligible research by October 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Applications are accepted March 15–October 30, 2026, with recipient announcements scheduled for April 22, 2027.
