About this program
The Film Study Center at Harvard University, in partnership with LEF Foundation, offers the FSC-LEF Fellowship for the 2027–28 academic year to support filmmakers developing original nonfiction film projects. Applicants must submit an online application, a project proposal of up to five pages, an itemized budget, a CV, and links to previously directed work samples totaling no more than 10 minutes. Projects are evaluated on their concept, significance, originality, cinematic quality, and potential contribution to and benefit from the FSC community; applications are due February 5, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
