FSRMM Research Grants on Neuromuscular Diseases (salary support up to 3 years)

About this program

The Swiss Foundation for Research on Muscle Diseases (FSRMM) funds salary-only grants for up to three years to support basic, translational and clinical biomedical research on muscle and neuromuscular diseases at Swiss institutions, with priority for young researchers without permanent positions seeking to establish independent groups. Eligible applicants must be based at Swiss institutions and propose projects directly related to muscle or neuromuscular diseases (ALS projects are given secondary priority). Budgets must follow SNSF salary scales (no supply money or overhead), and applications must include specified materials (≤½-page abstract, ~140-word lay summary in German/Italian/French, ≤1½-page introduction, ≤5-page research plan, budget, CV, and publications from the last five years); young researchers must add a PI endorsement confirming infrastructure availability and agreement on last authorship.
