Princeton University's Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment is offering the Fund for Energy Research with Corporate Partners (Research grant tier) to support collaborative, interdisciplinary projects on sustainable energy conversion, use, and management, providing up to $235,000 of internal funding per year for one to three years. Projects must include a minimum 25% corporate cash contribution (gift or sponsored research only; in‑kind contributions are not allowed), with sponsored research subject to Princeton’s 64% indirect cost rate and ORPA approval. Lead PIs and co‑PIs must be full‑time Princeton faculty or research scholars; external collaborators may participate but cannot receive funding, applicants are limited in the number of proposals they may join, and PIs who received a Research‑tier award in the prior two cycles are ineligible to serve as PI. Intent emails are encouraged by 28 September 2026 (csharpless@princeton.edu) and full proposals are due 26 October 2026 via InfoReady, with decisions announced in December 2026 and an earliest start date of 1 January 2027.
