About this program
Connecticut Innovations' Future Fund is a $50 million venture fund that makes investments of approximately $250,000–$1.5 million in early-stage, venture‑backable startups led by underrepresented founders and diverse teams, managed by Alison Malloy with goals of generating returns and creating meaningful jobs in Connecticut. Largely sector-agnostic, the fund has particular interest in fintech, proptech, healthtech, insurtech, AI, and consumer packaged goods, and prioritizes companies with customers, proven traction, disruptive technology, strong growth potential and defensible moats. Eligible applicants are early‑stage startups led by underrepresented/diverse founders that can demonstrate traction and a venture‑backable business model; entrepreneurs should apply via the CI Future Fund webpage.
