About this program
The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) requests project proposals for FY2026 prototypes addressing 15 military-relevant medical technology and knowledge-product focus areas, including prevention, traumatic wound infection, infectious diseases, musculoskeletal injuries, pain and anesthesia, and blast exposure monitoring. Proposed solutions may include medical devices, drugs, biologics, interventions, or knowledge products for use in operational and austere environments; submissions are due October 30, 2026. Offerors must submit an Enhanced White Paper addressing only one designated focus area, although multiple submissions are permitted, and must satisfy the applicable technical, preclinical, clinical, regulatory, human-subjects, and supporting-data requirements. Military relevance and transition potential are essential, while teaming is encouraged but not required.
