About this program
Montana Arts Council’s Strategic Investment Grants (SIG) provide awards up to $1,000 to support artists, teachers, and nonprofit arts organizations for professional development, market expansion, exhibitions, performances, public outreach, and investments in technology. Applications are due electronically by the 15th of each month (moved to the next business day if the 15th is a weekend/holiday) and are reviewed the following month. Eligibility and review criteria differ for individual artist applicants and 501(c)(3) organizations; applicants should consult the SIG Program Guidelines and may contact Brian Moody (brian.moody2@mt.gov) for assistance.
