About this program
The National GEM Consortium offers graduate fellowships in engineering, computer science, and applied sciences, supported through GEM employer sponsorship and requiring industry internships. Fellowships may provide up to two years of support for master’s students and five years for PhD students, at GEM Member Universities. Applicants must be seniors, master’s students, or graduates of accredited programs, with a minimum 2.8 GPA for MS applicants and 3.0 for PhD applicants. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on the second Friday in November and must include a statement of purpose, unofficial transcripts, resume, and at least two online recommendations; applicants generally must apply to at least three GEM Member Universities.
