General Operating Support Grant Program (FY27)

About this program

The Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism’s Division of the Arts offers the General Operating Support (GOS) Grant Program to provide operating funds to nonprofit arts organizations that create, present, or preserve recognized disciplines such as dance, design arts, folklife, literature, media, music, theatre, and visual arts and crafts. Eligible applicants must be Louisiana-domiciled 501(c)(3) organizations with an IRS determination dated at least one year before the application deadline and an organizational mission that lists the arts as a primary goal. Applicants are required to demonstrate how they support underserved populations via an outreach plan proportional to their size and mission; FY27 applications are closed, review panels are held in May, and award notifications go out in July.
