Gerald Westheimer Career Development Fellowship

The Leo Baeck Institute offers the Gerald Westheimer Career Development Fellowship, a personal grant of up to $25,000 for early-career scholars or professionals researching historical or cultural aspects of Jewish life in German-speaking lands. Funding may support research materials, temporary assistance, professional memberships, travel, equipment, and summer salary, for July 1–June 30, with possible renewal for a second year. Applicants must have completed a doctorate and not yet hold academic tenure or its equivalent, and should submit a two-page project description and budget, CV, three reference letters, and supporting materials by March 3 via email.
