Gilead Sciences’ Research Scholars Program supports innovative research by emerging investigators worldwide, providing four institutional awards of up to $180,000 USD total over two years (up to $90,000/year) to junior faculty pursuing work that addresses unmet patient needs and health inequities. Applicants must be junior faculty (emerging investigators); proposals are competitively evaluated by a Scientific Review Committee of leaders in the field of solid tumors based on scientific merit, feasibility, and innovation, and second-year funding requires a progress report and committee approval. Awards are granted without discrimination on personal characteristics and seek to support investigators and topics in underfunded settings; application deadline is 13 November 2026, 11:59 PM PST.
