About this program

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture offers the Food Retail Improvement and Development Grant (FRIDG) Program, formerly the Good Food Access Program Equipment and Physical Improvement Grant. Funding supports grocery stores and small food retailers in purchasing equipment and making physical improvements that increase access to affordable, nutritious, and culturally appropriate foods in underserved, low- and moderate-income communities.
