About this program
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Good Food Access Program Technical Assistance Grant, now renamed the Food Retail Improvement and Development Grant (FRIDG) Program, supports technical assistance providers serving underserved communities in low- and moderate-income areas. Funding helps providers assist new or existing for-profit, nonprofit, and cooperative self-service food retailers in expanding access to affordable, nutritious, and culturally appropriate foods. Eligible applicants are technical assistance providers offering needs-based support to qualifying food retail establishments.
