American Psychology-Law Society (AP-LS) offers Grants-in-Aid of up to $1,000 to support empirical undergraduate research on psycholegal issues; applications are due by September 15, 2026 and must be emailed to the Undergraduate Grants-in-Aid Committee chair. Complete submissions must include a cover sheet, ≤100-word abstract, a short proposal (≤1,500 words excluding abstract and references) with background and detailed methods, an itemized budget and justification, references, and proof of active IRB/ethical approval; typical allowable costs include subject payments, testing materials, and software not provided by the university, while computers, travel, research assistant salaries, and routinely available university equipment are generally not funded. Eligible applicants are current undergraduate AP-LS Student Affiliates who list a faculty advisor (advisor need not be an AP-LS member); only one application per cycle is allowed, resubmissions require a ≤250-word statement, prior awardees must document completion and provide an abstract of prior funded work, and required tax forms (W-9 or W-8BEN) must be supplied.
