The Towsley Foundation Grants

About this program

The Towsley Foundation provides grants to charitable organizations, primarily in Michigan, to improve the lives of individuals and communities while promoting organizational effectiveness, sustainability, environmental stewardship, strategic planning, and collaboration. Funding is generally project-based rather than ongoing, with capital requests limited to 10% of total project costs and typically paid over three to five years. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations; individuals, private foundations, political or legislative organizations, and most requests for travel, conferences, publications, or media are ineligible.
