About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) offers the Harold R. Peyton Award for Cold Regions Engineering to honor outstanding professional accomplishments and promote awareness of cold regions engineering challenges. The annual award, presented at a relevant ASCE or international conference, includes a plaque and an honorarium determined annually. Nominees must be ASCE members in good standing and living at the time of nomination; the award is made when a suitable candidate is identified. Nominations are due November 1 and must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biographical information, and two or three recommendation letters.
