The American Chemical Society, supported by an endowed fund established by the Purdue Borane Research Fund and others, offers the Herbert C. Brown Award for Creative Research in Synthetic Methods to recognize outstanding, creative contributions to the discovery and development of novel and useful chemical synthesis methods. The award includes $10,000, a medallion, certificate, and reimbursement of up to $2,500 in travel expenses to the presentation meeting. Nominees may be researchers from any area of chemistry and must have demonstrated exceptional research in synthetic methods; nominations are open internationally and are due December 15, 2025, under the extended deadline.
