High Road Training Partnerships: 2025 Grant Program

About this program

The California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) and the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA) are offering up to $18,577,290 in grant funding through the High Road Training Partnerships 2025 Grant Program (HRTP 2025) to expand access to High Road jobs for underserved populations and support incumbent workers' career growth. The program funds projects in two stages: Training Implementation (up to $3,000,000) and Expanding Training Implementation (up to $5,000,000), with a minimum of $4,327,290 allocated for healthcare sector projects. Applicants must secure 1:1 matching funds and commit to a 24-month grant term. Eligible applicants include businesses, individuals, nonprofits, and tribal governments, with one entity serving as the Lead Applicant or Fiscal Agent on behalf of the partnership.
