Humanities Kansas offers travel stipends and hotel reimbursements to participants attending the Future of Kansas History Summit on September 24, 2026. Eligible participants may receive up to $100 for travel exceeding 60 miles one way and reimbursement for a one-night stay at the Hyatt Place in Topeka, subject to available funds. Applicants must represent organizations, including museums and historical societies, located in Kansas counties with populations below 50,000 and must apply by August 31, 2026. One stipend and one hotel reimbursement are permitted per organization, with funding unavailable to organizations in ten specified counties, including Shawnee, Sedgwick, and Douglas.
