Houston Center for Contemporary Craft Artist Residency

About this program

Houston Center for Contemporary Craft offers an annual Artist Residency Program providing craft artists with dedicated time and studio space, monthly stipends, professional exposure, and opportunities to engage with the Houston public. The program supports creative development across media including clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, photography, and mixed media. Emerging, mid-career, and established craft artists are eligible to apply, with the open call running annually from December 1 through February 1. Residents are expected to work in the studio and interact with visitors through public engagement and education.
