About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), through its Environmental and Water Resources Institute, offers the Hunter Rouse Hydraulic Engineering Award to recognize outstanding contributions to hydraulics and waterways. The annual award includes a certificate, an honorarium determined each year, and may include an invitation to deliver the Hunter Rouse Hydraulic Engineering Lecture. Nominees may be considered regardless of ASCE membership and must be nominated by October 1 through the official nomination form. Submissions must include a signed cover letter, the nominee’s CV or biographical information, and up to three recommendation letters.
